About the Accord Ultralight
A case built to disappear on your shoulder.
The Accord Ultralight Cello Case weighs approximately 2.3 kg, making it the lightest cello hard case in the world. Every component is engineered for weight, but none of the structural protection is given up to get there. The result is a case you can carry through airports, up stairs, and across cities without the cumulative fatigue of a traditional hard case.
Each case is hand-finished by Accord in Poland, with premium materials and custom colour options available to order.
Interior and suspension
A floating fit, tuned to your cello.
All Accord cases feature a unique suspension system engineered to float the instrument on a cushion of foam pads. Wedge cushions can be adjusted for different instruments, providing a very precise inside fit and a high margin of safety against shock.
The insulation is ecological and chemically neutral. It does not interact with or harm the finish of the instrument, and it prevents the accumulation of moisture. Excellent thermal insulating qualities and adjustable bottom pads allow the case to fit the exact length of any instrument.
